Description
The northern saw whet owl is our smallest northern owl only about 4" tall & 70-80grams in weight. This little guy or gal has made it's presence known at times throughout the past year in our backyard. They are primarily nocturnal and I've only seen it once during the day recently after receiving the chickadee/nuthatch alert.
